Do you know the difference between an open gear and a closed gear?

1. Open gear:

The gears are completely exposed to the outside, there is no casing or dust cover, the working conditions are relatively poor, the external debris is easy to invade, and the lubrication maintenance is frequent. It is generally used in low-speed transmission such as construction machinery, agricultural machinery and recommended mechanical equipment.

2. Closed gear:

3. Half-open gear:
