Reasons for tooth surface roughness error:
1. After the worm pair is worn, the gap is too large, and vibration occurs during cutting.
2. Vibration occurs on the worktable; the workpiece and the tool are not installed properly, which may cause vibration during cutting.
3. Let the knife mechanism return abnormally and scratch the surface of the workpiece.
4. The cutting edge of the gear shaper is worn, the cutting parameters are unreasonable, and the heat treatment of the workpiece is inappropriate.
Reasons for accumulation of gear shaper pitch:
1. The movement error of the working worm pair and the tool post worm pair, the meshing gap is large.
2. The feed cam wears and the radial circle runout is out of tolerance.
3. Make the knife unstable and loosen the insert.

4. The cumulative error of the tooth pitch of the gear shaper is large.
