40cr gear processingIt is forged from 40Cr steel and has been heated, forged, heat treated, and finished. 40cr steel is the standard steel grade of my country's GB. It is medium carbon quenched and tempered steel, cold heading die steel, moderate price, easy to process, after proper heat treatment, a certain degree of toughness, plasticity and wear resistance can be obtained.
Normalizing can promote the spheroidization of the structure and improve the cutting performance of the blank with a hardness of less than 160HBS.
Tempering at a temperature of 550~570℃, the steel has the best comprehensive mechanical properties.
The hardenability of this steel is higher than that of 45 steel, and it is suitable for surface hardening treatments such as high frequency quenching and flame quenching.
40. XNUMXcr quenching and tempering hardness:

3. After being quenched and tempered at low temperature, it is used to manufacture parts with heavy load, low impact and wear resistance, and the solid thickness on the section is below 25mm, such as worm gear, main shaft, shaft, collar, etc.
4. After quenching and tempering and high-frequency surface quenching, it is used to manufacture parts with high surface hardness and wear resistance without great shock, such as gears, sleeves, shafts, main shafts, crankshafts, spindles, pins, screws Caps, intake valves, etc.
5. Manufacture various transmission parts that undergo carbonitriding treatment, such as gears and shafts with large straightness and good low-temperature toughness.
