Analysis of Causes Affecting Machining Precision of Planetary Gear Grinding

The analysis and explanation of the reasons that affect the grinding precision of planetary gears are as follows for reference.
1. The typical shape of gear radial runout error (Fr) is shown in Figure 2, which is a sinusoidal shape.

The main reasons for this error are:
Machining gearWhen the inner hole of the gear does not coincide with the center of rotation of the gear (that is, the center of the base circle), "geometric eccentricity" appears.Radial runout has a great influence on the accuracy and stability of gear transmission.
The way to solve this kind of problem is to detect the positioning accuracy of the gear, so as to eliminate the "geometric eccentricity" of the gear.
2. The typical shape of the cumulative total deviation error (Fp) of the tooth pitch is shown in Figure 3. It is similar to the shape of the gear radial runout error, and the two influence each other.

The main reasons for this error are:
a. The cumulative error of the tooth pitch of the machine indexing turbine is out of tolerance;
b. Geometry eccentricity exists during gear processing.
